Visitors must obtain a visa to visit Chile unless they are exempt. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa in advance if required.
You need a visa to travel to Chile unless you are from one of the following countries (i.e., the following countries do not need a visa to travel to Chile):
The countries listed above can stay in Chile without a visa for up to 90 days, except for the following countries, whose citizens can stay in Chile visa-free for up to 30 days:
The visa-exempt nationals above can travel to Chile with their passport or ID (see below) and obtain a Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turismo) from the immigration authorities at the point of entry.
Nationals of the following countries can enter Chile with simply their Identity Document (ID card):
If you are a visa-required national, you have to apply for a Chile visa online, and obtain it from the nearest Chilean Embassy/Consulate: https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/
INVITATION LETTER FOR VISA PURPOSES
Participants who require a signed and stamped letter are kindly requested to send their passport details to peresici@kenes.com. Please make sure to include your full name (as printed in your passport), full postal address, and passport number.
Application for the invitation letter must be received at least 6 weeks prior to the congress.
Unfortunately, we are unable to send invitation letters directly to consulates. Invitation letters are prepared solely for individuals and are sent directly to them.
