Todd Hankinson

Todd Hankinson is the Head of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado. His primary research interest is in Pediatric Brain Tumors. He assembled Advancing Treatment for Pediatric Craniopharyngioma, multi-center consortium in North America that focuses on the improvement of therapies for pediatric craniopharyngioma. His laboratory combines basic science methods with -omics and machine learning techniques to identify and test novel therapies for Craniopharyngioma.
Todd is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He completed medical school and residency training at the Neurological Institute of New York/Columbia University. He completed Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship at Children’s of Alabama. He and his wife Jennifer have lived in Colorado for 13 years. They enjoy travel, the outdoors and spend too much time driving their 2 sons to sporting events.
